Embrace2 is now available in 12 more countries!
About 65 million people around the world have epilepsy, so we strive to make our technology available in more places.¹ Therefore, we are happy to announce that Embrace is now available in 12 more countries, making our reach practically worldwide:
Colombia Cyprus Ecuador Guatemala Honduras Indonesia Kuwait Macao Malta Mozambique Peru Ukraine
If you live in one of these nations, you can now purchase an Embrace through our website. You do not need a prescription (Rx) to buy Embrace, unless you are a U.S resident. Are you wondering if Embrace works in your country and is the right seizure monitor for you? Use our 3 minute tool to see.
Embrace can be used by both adults and children. It is designed to detect tonic-clonic (convulsive) seizures that last longer than 20 seconds. Other non-convulsive seizure types currently cannot be detected by Embrace.
For Embrace to work properly, the person wearing it will need two things.
1. A compatible mobile device with a stable Internet and Bluetooth connection
2. The Alert App with an active subscription plan
Remember, Embrace2 needs to stay close to the connected mobile device (within a 10m radius). This is so alerts can be sent out to caregivers, when the wearer needs help. Keep in mind that caregivers can receive the alerts at any location, whether or not they are close to the person wearing Embrace.
Still have questions? Read our newly updated blog post here for answers to other concerns. If you still have specific questions, our Customer Happiness team is available at support@empatica.com.
We love to hear from our Embrace users on social, too. Once you’ve ordered and received your new Embrace, strike a pose and send us your photo for a chance for us to share it on our social channels! We are on Twitter and Facebook as Empatica and Instagram as Empatica_Wearables.
So, the wait is over. Go ahead and order your Embrace today!
